🧺 The Laundry Nook – Policy

💰 Pricing & Payment

• Services are priced at $2 per pound

• $35 minimum per order

• Bulky items (comforters, large blankets, etc.) are priced separately since they take a full

load.

• Comforters: $15

👉 Payment is required before the time of delivery.

🧺 Laundry Guidelines

• Please ensure all pockets are emptied before service

• We are not responsible for items left in pockets

• Items will be washed together unless otherwise requested

• Special care items must be clearly communicated in advance.

⚠ Stains & Damage

• We do not guarantee removal of all stains

• Normal wear and tear, fading, or shrinkage may occur

• We are not responsible for damage due to:

o weak fabric

o improper labeling

• pre-existing damage

🐾 Heavily Soiled Items

o Items with excessive dirt, odors, or pet hair may incur an additional fee

o We reserve the right to refuse items that pose a health or safety risk

🚗 Pickup & Delivery

• Pickup and delivery times will be scheduled in advance

• Please ensure items are ready at the agreed time

⏱ Turnaround Time

• Standard turnaround time is 24–48 hours• Rush/same-day service may be available for an additional fee

📦 Unclaimed Laundry

• Laundry not claimed within 7 days will be subject to a storage fee

• Items left over 30 days may be donated or discarded.

🤍 Right to Refuse Service

The Laundry Nook reserves the right to refuse service for:

• hazardous materials

• excessively soiled items

• items that may damage equipment

• no form of payment received before washing process
